New York City Center's Encores! revives vintage Broadway musicals in very limited-run performances, with minimal staging and actors reading from scripts. Their new production, Stairway to Paradise: 50 Years of Broadway Revue in Review, stars Kristen Chenoweth and runs May 10-14. Vietel has a long career in the theater. He brought M Butterfly to the Jujamycn in New York and went on to help stage Jelly's Last Jam, Angels in America, the plays of August Wilson, and The Producers. [Broadcast Date: May 9, 2007]
